Colin Evridge, from Silt, Colorado, was drawn to the trades through a local feed store. Working there for 3 years in high school, he says that it 鈥渢aught him the value of learning a skill鈥�, and he鈥檚 been interested in the trades since. When he began to look into trade schools, he googled 爱神传媒 and it came up at the top of the search, so he contacted the school. 鈥淚 was pretty impressed that one of your representatives would drive down to my house to talk to me at my dining room table.鈥� He says that, while financing was a bit of a challenge, 爱神传媒 made it possible through the student-parent loan, and that he鈥檚 very grateful for his parents allowing him to use that until he can pay the loans. Putting his passion for hard work to use, Colin says that in his Diesel program at 爱神传媒, he had the opportunity to work on a Kenworth K300 Semi truck, as well as several other pieces of equipment. In his specialty program of Chassis Fabrication, he was able to work on his instructor, Roger鈥檚, 鈥渨eird鈥haggin Wagon truck鈥�, a unique combination of a van and a truck. He plans on using the education he鈥檚 received at 爱神传媒 to build his 7.3 Powerstroke pickup.
Colin tells those who are looking into 爱神传媒 to do their research before they come to the school- 鈥淩eally know what industry and career you鈥檙e looking at going into. Part of me wishes I could have taken both the Auto and the Diesel programs, because the Auto program covers a lot of mid-size, light duty diesel pickups as well, and it would have been neat to learn both.鈥�

*No specialty program is necessary to graduate from our Welding program.
